Hi I’m Kim, I believe everyone who opts for cochlear implants, didn’t go through all that to hear things “fuzzy, buzzy, or mickey mousey”, it can sound better and it SHOULD! I am CA licensed speech pathologist and certified Auditory Verbal Therapist who KNOWS that clarity and ease is possible for you. My approach blends evidence‑based therapy with holistic, human‑centered care—so you feel understood, supported, and empowered. I also work collaboratively alongside existing school or clinic services to create continuity and momentum so your progress moves as fast as possible .

HOW I STARTED Cochlear therapy
Honestly? I was burnt out from the Hospital system. I worked 11+ years in the hospital system on CI surgical teams and felt like there wasn’t enough time for me or my patients to give them the care they truly needed. I wanted to create a new model for treatment. I launched Children’s Holistic Therapy in 2020 and never looked back. I am eternally grateful to have served 100’s of adults and children of all ages with their cochlear implant therapy aka auditory verbal therapy or AVT for short.
SERVICES
Therapy is provided in the most naturalistic setting — the comfort of your home.
In order to determine areas of growth and a therapeutic plan, a 90 min Assessment and consultation is provided first.
Frequency: Sessions are typically recommended weekly for optimal progress, frequency TBD upon evaluation.
PRICING & PACKAGES
• $200/ 60 min session (Zoom); $250 In Person
• Session bundles are available for added savings and convenience
• Superbill Receipts available upon request for insurance reimbursement (50% of my patients receive some insurance reimbursement)>> Superbills are submitted as claims via the patient to their insurance for reimbursement.
